About Me

I'm Lisa and I am a mum of 3 and a dedicated yogi.

I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years on and off but after the complicated birth of my son in 2014, I found life a little overwhelming and I eventually found my way back to my mat. 

 

I have a strong love for how yoga and meditation has been a positive influence on both my physical and emotional health and I now feel called to empower others to do the same. 

 

In 2018, I was diagnosed with PTSD and I found that getting on my mat was the one thing that kept the darker days at bay and this led me wanting to learn more. 

 

In 2019, I embarked on my 200 hour yoga teacher training and I have spent many hours adding to my learning ever since. 

I weave all of my knowledge together to create a community for everyone to calm and unite their bodies and minds. My classes are all from a trauma informed perspective and accessible to every body.

My Classes

Baby and Postnatal Yoga

Mondays from 26th Feb 2024
10:30-11:30
Meadows Community Centre, 299 Arbury Road, Cambridge

£40 for 6 weeks

A safe space for mums and babies from 6 weeks old to crawling. Where you can have beautiful, uninterrupted time with your baby so you can strengthen the bond between you. You learn your babies individual needs by tuning into them in a calm and relaxed community space. 
I will hold a safe community space where you will be surrounded by other mums, where I will guide you through some gentle breathwork, movement and meditation to leave you feel connected to yourself. 
We will sing songs together whilst you learn some massage and movement techniques to help your baby be the best version of themselves and have fun!

Chair Yoga
Tuesdays from 9th January 2024
10:15AM-11:00AM
Waterbeach Barracks, Community Room

£7 per class

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support.

The benefits of chair yoga include improved flexibility, better mobility and increased strength as well as many mental health benefits.


Chair Yoga is great to help you find range of movement needed for everyday life. Making it easier playing with the dog or your grandchildren and live your life.


The class is for anyone; it is open to women and men of all ages. It’s great if you have mobility challenges and medical needs.


Classes take you through 45 minutes of movement and breathing exercises, finishing with some lovely relaxation. We don’t take it all too seriously!

Stretch and Release Yoga
Suitable for Beginners
Wednesdays

£10 per class or discounts available if bought in bulk.

This class is suitable for complete beginners or those wishing to feel more empowered in their own yoga practice.
We will move through a gentle sequence of the core postures and learn where you should feel confident in each one. I will go through the cue points slowly and help you to feel empowered and confident as we move.
We will also start your journey with finding your inner calm and I will teach you some amazing breathwork techniques that have a fabulous effect on your body and mind.

A yoga class where you can bring your child! 

A new lunchtime class where you can come with your child to have some time out of your hectic life! Children are welcome to join in or play and socialise with others.

Yin & Gong Soundbath

A 2 hour immersive session of floor based yoga postures, Yoga Nidra and Gong Soundbath

Experience deep relaxation and rejuvenation with our Summer Solstice Yin Yoga & Gong Soundbath Immersion  with Lisa from Yoga Bright and Tracey  from Ancient Gongs. 
Lisa will  guide you through a nourishing Yin yoga session for 45 mins before we break for an optional cacao. Then, let the soothing vibrations of gongs and crystal bowls guide you through a refreshing yoga nidra session and deep rest. 
Join us for this transcendent experience to celebrate the longest day of the year and find inner peace.
